You probably don’t need us to tell you that Westminster’s dining scene has evolved dramatically in recent years. Charlie Brown

Did Westminster need another bar and grill with weekend crowds eager to unwind, share stories, and enjoy live music? Probably not. But if we had to have another casual spot in the mix, we could do a lot worse than Charlie Brown’s. Most things at this old-school establishment are solid, like the two-for-one happy hour drinks running until 7 p.m., affordable wine at just $7 a glass, or the friendly staff that makes everyone feel welcome.

The atmosphere is also top-notch, and there’s nothing like a talented pianist like Mike playing while encouraging guests to sing along to make you forget you’re in a modern world.

The weekly events kick off just after sunset.

But the restaurant, which shares parking with the Aspire complex, offers more than just weekend trivia. An entertainment lineup blends classic bar games with some theatrical flair. Their Dungeons and Dragons sessions held in the cozy, poster-lined space are a treat, and the $14 craft beer flights are worth the splurge, especially if you’re planning on staying for Drag Queen Bingo.
