You’ve conquered the morning rush, the coffee is hitting just right, and you’re already planning your weekend. Breakfast victory. Except one thing – you’re craving something beyond your usual routine. These Norcross spots will make your morning meal feel like a celebration.
Hen Mother Cookhouse – Johns Creek
$ | (770) 417-8404 | WEBSITE

You crushed it at breakfast and neither of you are ready to say goodbye. Power move: Walk across the street to the parking deck, find the best cinnamon roll they have, and head to the closed-in patio. If you think sharing that massive, delicious cinnamon roll in one hand, holding a boozy brunch drink in the other, and talking about everything that’s actually important in life over crispy-outside-fluffy-inside pancakes won’t seal the deal, please try it for yourself.
Connor’s NY Deli and Wings
$ | (770) 447-6999 | WEBSITE

The thought of paying high prices for a simple breakfast sandwich is morning-routine sabotage. So skip that nonsense and head straight to Connor’s. Despite being one of the more popular delis in the area, Connor’s somehow manages to keep costs low and levels of satisfaction inside high. They have a great breakfast menu and an even better Reuben to enjoy it with.
The Nest Cafe
$ | (678) 231-2477 | WEBSITE

The sun is shining, and it’s time to indulge. The Nest Cafe is one of our favorite neighborhood breakfast spots in the Norcross area, with a warm, maybe-I’m-eating-in-New-Orleans feel and staff who know what they’re doing.
Reveille Cafe
$ | (770) 360-0970 | WEBSITE

You hate weekend crowds until you remember how lively they make a breakfast spot feel. And if your idea of a good morning involves digging into fluffy pancakes, head to Reveille Cafe. Yes, this restaurant is in Alpharetta with that unusual back entrance. And, yes, that means it gets packed.
But if you arrive early on a weekday, you won’t have to wait for a table, and you’ll be able to sit in their spacious, clean setting and enjoy your meal with prime access to their amazing service and that famous Crème Brulee French Toast.
Maple Street Biscuit Company
$ | (678) 404-5625 | WEBSITE

Maple Street Biscuit Company is one of those breakfast spots that everyone raved about when it first opened and then gradually slipped off weekend radar for no real fault of its own. Well, listen up—it’s time to slide it right back into rotation. This cozy Downtown Duluth biscuit haven is just as satisfying as it ever was, with that familiar, homey atmosphere perfect for that lazy weekend brunch you want to keep simple and comforting.
Biscuits are the clear star here, but if you’re craving something with a kick, their Spicy Biscuits & Gravy delivers big time.
IHOP
$ | (404) 633-1889 | WEBSITE

The morning’s been pretty good, but as the sun rises you both discover your mutual craving for a solid breakfast. Time to head to IHOP, a restaurant with welcoming staff and a bright, spacious atmosphere. Order a couple of avocado toasts (or the bacon omelet), find a comfortable booth, and continue that debate on the best breakfast item of all time.
The Flying Biscuit Cafe
$ | (770) 594-9522 | WEBSITE

There’s going to be a wait at The Flying Biscuit Cafe, but that’s a good thing – you want to be grabbing coffee at the counter first. This cozy breakfast spot is good at knowing what you want to eat, and also serves excellent biscuits that will tide you over until you can stuff your faces with shrimp and grits.
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery
$ | (470) 835-9710 | WEBSITE

Once your wait is up, walk over to Snooze for some flavorful breakfast and brunch. This spot is pretty perfect for mornings: you’re not jammed close to the table next to you, it’s not too loud, and the clean space is inviting without being too in-your-face fancy. Order the Benedict Egg and the Pancake Flight.
The Breakfast Bar
$$ | (470) 282-3155 | WEBSITE

You know that cozy brunch lounge serving classic breakfast with a twist in Norcross? No, not that one. Or that one. Or that one. OK, so a lot of spots are doing what The Breakfast Bar is doing, but The Breakfast Bar wins out for weekend morning gatherings. The space is casual but welcoming, as in there’s upbeat music playing, but also tables where you can properly enjoy each other’s company.
The menu is basically a list of what breakfast favorites are done right (crab cakes Benedict, jerk lamb chops), but it’s all delicious and very satisfying.
Duluth Rexall Grill (Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits)
$ | WEBSITE

Just a short drive from the main strip you’ll find Duluth Rexall Grill – one of the few spots in Norcross where you can actually just walk in, grab a biscuit at the counter, and settle into a cozy booth. No reservations, no pretension, no $20 entrees. Plus there’s all-day breakfast – a little comfort food never hurt anybody.
