Forget the long lines and indecisive friends who can’t choose between tapioca pearls or popping boba. Arlington’s bubble tea scene thrives on grab-and-go freedom—where every craving gets its perfect match without the group-dinner drama.
Tea Cup
$ | (817) 275-4832 | WEBSITE

The beloved Arlington bubble tea shop was recently given a fresh update, complete with a cool, air-conditioned interior, two cozy seating nooks, and the iconic tea cup-shaped sign out front. It’s a perfect spot to settle in on a Saturday afternoon when all your friends with kids can swing by between errands. Everyone orders individually at the counter, and even if your whole crew shows up, finding a seat will never be a problem.
For drinks, we recommend the classic avocado smoothie with boba or their signature milk tea with condensed milk and as many refills as you need.
Sharetea Arlington
$ | (682) 323-7140 | WEBSITE

There’s a lot to love on Sharetea Arlington’s streamlined menu: brewed tea for those with dietary restrictions, syrup made with actual sugar and brown sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, and the standout Mango Creama with natural mango flavor, a smooth creamy layer, and perfectly chewy boba pearls. But our favorite thing about this bubble tea spot in Arlington is that no matter what kind of craving hits, everybody in your group can kind of do their own thing.
All ordering is done at the counter and seating is on a first-come basis. You can certainly grab one of the small tables inside, but the bright, minimalist space is a great place to post up, sip your $5-7 drink, and let friends stream in and out at their leisure for a quick and tasty experience.
Feng Cha Arlington
$ | (817) 200-6445 | WEBSITE

Feng Cha Arlington is a great spot for a casual boba tea break. It’s part of the Feng Cha chain, and draws steady crowds for the excellent bubble tea selection, crafted right there by their bobaristas—and plenty of coffee options and seasonal drinks. The cozy space isn’t enormous, but the seating is ample, and it’ll come in handy when you’re looking to study or catch up with friends who might arrive at different times.
Standard drinks are always available, but if you’re committing to a signature beverage, our favorites are the Strawberry Overload or the Dirty Cafe Latte.
Happy Lemon
$ | (682) 323-4158 | WEBSITE

If you think you’re just getting bubble tea, that means you’ve found Happy Lemon. Tucked away in Arlington, Happy Lemon is not just a tea shop—it’s a vibrant bubble tea and waffle destination that feels like a cheerful, modern take on a classic Asian dessert cafe. There’s a bright counter with a bustling drink station, waffle iron, and sample trays.
It’s delightful, so here’s your game plan: Start with one of their citrus drinks (the mango matcha smoothie is our favorite), end with a chocolate waffle, and grab a taro milk tea for the drive home.
Unitea Bubble Tea
$ | (817) 422-9324 | WEBSITE

Perhaps not everyone in your group wants to drink bubble tea in a cozy shop with board games, but once they realize that they can order individually at the front counter, they’ll make it work. Unitea Bubble Tea is located near a high school and UTA, and this location is ideal for when you’ve invited a lot of people who are all going to show up at different times.
As far as the menu goes, not every drink is filled with boba and jelly (though that’s the best one), so even your less-adventurous friends can find a mango smoothie or something. Just make sure you get multiple orders of shrimp spring rolls for the table.
Onezo Texas- Arlington
$ | (682) 347-0234 | WEBSITE

Despite the name, this charming, cash-only boba spot in Arlington is less of a standard café and more of a cozy, floral-decorated retreat. The move here is to pick out some refreshing fruit teas from the extensive drink menu and/or order a few of the fantastic milk teas with soft, chewy boba.
Onezo Texas has ample open seating and is open until 10pm every night, making it good for a relaxed group hangout in North Arlington where people might show up at different times and arrive with varying thirst levels. Make sure to get a few cups of their famously balanced, not-too-sweet fruit teas to share, then maybe snag a bag of tanghulu on the weekend to reward the friend who paid with cash and had everyone Venmo them.
Magic Cup
$ | (817) 962-0001 | WEBSITE

Tucked away in a strip mall in Arlington, Magic Cup’s bright and airy space has both indoor and outdoor seating, a row of comfortable booths along the wall, and a dessert counter where people can order macaron ice cream sandwiches when they get hungry.
Most people here are drinking bubble tea (we love the Thai Milk Tea with Coffee Jelly and Boba), but there are tasty coffee drinks like the lavender oat milk latte and Dirty Chai with almond milk as well (if that’s the kind of treat you’re going for). It gets busy on weekends, but even during peak hours, you’ll never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a table to clear. Also, its convenient parking means no one can complain about finding a spot.
Dingtea Arlington
$ | (817) 609-9999 | WEBSITE

As you might guess from the bright, modern signage that proudly displays DINGTEA, Dingtea Arlington—a popular bubble tea spot that’s become a local favorite—is a great destination for chewy, high-quality boba in delicious Thai tea.
But less apparent is that Dingtea Arlington is one of the best spots in the area to introduce newcomers to bubble tea: There’s a clean, tidy interior with enough space to accommodate a steady stream of customers, a large menu that includes everything from standout chocolate milk tea with boba to unique flavors like hazelnut milk tea, and a phenomenal staff right behind the counter who treat everyone with such kindness and respect that first-time visitors feel like part of the family.
Kung Fu Tea
$ | (817) 583-6574 | WEBSITE

Kung Fu Tea’s two-story space in downtown Arlington is full of college students, clinking boba cups, and the smell of sweet strawberry milk tea. Plush toys like Bulbasaur dot the cute decor, and the second-floor lounge area with games is the centerpiece of every hangout. No matter how many friends you’re with (or how many will stroll in late), all ordering is done at the front counter, and the patient, courteous staff will make sure that everyone in your party finds a seat.
Without fail, this bubble tea spot brings fun and ease back to casual gatherings.
Royal Tea
$ | (682) 270-0089 | WEBSITE

While Royal Tea works for just about any occasion, this excellent Arlington tea shop is at its best when you show up for a casual social gathering. The cozy interior is definitely more for date night, so instead, take your group to the welcoming seating area, one of our favorite bubble tea spots in the DFW area.
The menu is extensive, but filled with fantastic options that include classic milk tea, specialty boba drinks, and one of the best eggnette desserts around—particularly the banana strawberries version with its delightful presentation.
Tea Scoop Boba Tea & Smoothie
$ | (817) 617-2192 | WEBSITE

Sure, Tea Scoop is basically the boba equivalent of your favorite neighborhood hangout these days, but their charming spot in Arlington is still a great place to set up shop for the afternoon and let your friends come when they can. The warm and inviting space has a relaxed and chill vibe that’s perfect for casual gatherings, with plenty of seating for groups.
As far as drinks go, there’s a solid enough menu with everything from Milk Thai Tea to Mango Green Milk Tea to Matcha Milk Tea with Sea Salt Cold Foam, as well as plenty of customizable sweetness and ice levels.
