There are countless reasons to love Redmond, but the vibrant Mexican food scene tops the list. This isn’t just about tacos and burritos—though you’ll find exceptional versions here. We’re talking about authentic moles, handmade tortillas, and family recipes passed through generations. When you crave that genuine flavor, here are the places that deliver.
Luigi’s Italian Cucina
$$ | (425) 406-8170 | WEBSITE

The charming and family-friendly Italian restaurant Luigi’s Italian Cucina offers a delightful dining experience with fresh, pleasant meals. The chef and owner provide friendly service, often serving personally and ensuring customers feel welcomed. The menu features a variety of Italian dishes, including eggplant parmigiana, mushroom ravioli, and three pasta dishes that are always perfect.
We’re into the calamari appetizer, which is fresh and elegantly served, and the spinach salad with mushrooms, bacon, and Gorgonzola is highly recommended. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere makes it a great place to have a good meal and celebrate special occasions like birthdays, with the chef preparing special food for picky kids. Overall, Luigi’s is a nice, quiet spot that many customers look forward to visiting again.
Agave Cocina & Cantina
$$ | (425) 881-8252 | WEBSITE

This Redmond favorite is part cantina and part sports bar, with great tequila, cocktails, and a menu that has, well, kind-of-hearty things, like a juicy carne asada or a macho burrito with shredded beef (we promise, not everything here is beef). Stick around long enough, and you may even find yourself unable to resist an order of to-die-for chips and guacamole, though we’re not entirely sure if those are considered light.
The vibe is fun and lively, the service is fast and welcoming, and the space is very large and clean—perfect for business lunches or casual dinners.
Caadxi Mezcaleria
$$ | (425) 242-1170 | WEBSITE

Caadxi Mezcaleria on the Eastside hits that perfect balance of authenticity, value, and flavor. We’re especially big fans of the tacos here—they come in generous portions at an affordable price. We’re also really into their vegan options, including the vegan wings, and vegetarian choices like the salads. Sure, you can enjoy the tasty BBQ meats, but there are also lighter, refreshing options like the guacamole and chips, or the red and green sauce.
The drink menu is a standout, featuring mezcal without being overly smoky, and the outdoor seating area is a lovely spot to relax. Despite some minor menu issues, the atmosphere feels contemporary and authentic, making it stand out from typical Mexican spots. The staff is accommodating, and dishes like the enfrijoladas have received praise. It’s a recommended spot for a satisfying meal that feels like home-cooked food from Mexico.
Bandido Mexican Grill
$ | (425) 445-2318 | WEBSITE

Bandido Mexican Grill is a Mexican-focused food truck located in a lot in Redmond. They do burritos, of course, but there are also a variety of tacos, quesadillas, and tortas. You can get the tacos on their own or in burrito form, but either choice ends with you and a small mountain of authentic Mexican food—the portions are huge. We’re also big fans of the adobada tacos. They come packed with flavorful meat and fresh toppings, in what just might be our new favorite way to eat tacos.
Los Chilangos – Redmond
$ | (425) 866-0129 | WEBSITE

Los Chilangos is one of my favorite Mexican spots in Redmond, whether I’m craving their amazing birria tacos or a super smooth horchata (or even better, both). Inside, you feel like you’re eating at a friend’s (very welcoming) taqueria—or you can grab a seat near the food truck for that authentic street vibe. The quesadillas served on their regular menu—with perfectly melted cheese, fresh ingredients, and that standout Diablo sauce—belong in the Flavor-Packed Hall Of Fame.
Los Chilangos – Redmond Ridge
$ | (425) 777-5842 | WEBSITE

Los Chilangos – Redmond Ridge is a Mexican street food spot serving up delicious eats in a casual, laid-back atmosphere. Overwhelmed by the options? Don’t be—just know they’re in Redmond Ridge, and that they make some fantastic tacos. We really like the carnitas and chicken dishes. The habañero wet burrito comes packed with flavor, tender meat, spicy sauce, and melted cheese (add a margarita). There are also things like street tacos, quesadillas, and burritos.
And if you decide you want something a little more indulgent, they’ve got quesabirria tacos on the menu.
Qt food truck
$ | (425) 647-0617 | WEBSITE

The Mexican food truck QT Food Truck, known for its quick-served offerings, delivers delicious and fresh meals at reasonable prices. We particularly recommend the al pastor burrito that comes packed with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh ingredients. The team provides friendly service and maintains a professional approach, whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or planning a catering event. Their punctuality and attention to detail make them an excellent choice for any occasion.
QDOBA Mexican Eats
$ | (425) 881-6829 | WEBSITE

We know it’s tempting to load up on chips or skip the veggies, but just about everything at QDOBA can be considered a smart choice. Their signature burrito bowl is the meal you crave, with plenty of fresh ingredients and flavorful options to customize your plate. Service-wise, the friendly staff provides outstanding assistance, especially for newcomers.
Although we will say—if you’re enjoying their improved atmosphere, you’re practically obligated by good sense to try their guacamole since it doesn’t cost extra.
Daman’s Bar and Grill
$$ | (425) 881-8801 | WEBSITE

The bar food coming out of the kitchen at Daman’s Bar and Grill is satisfying, and you can get classic pub fare like superb chicken strips or a mouth-watering whiskey burger. But if you need something a little livelier after a quiet weeknight, this Redmond spot also has pool tables, karaoke, and great drinks on tap.
Matador Redmond
$$ | (425) 883-2855 | WEBSITE

Matador Redmond falls into that rare category of huge portions, legendary sauces, and great value. It’s a long-standing favorite in Redmond with a welcoming atmosphere, offering everything from carnitas and burritos to excellent guacamole and craft drinks. Despite the generous servings, Matador manages to pull off consistently great food at reasonable prices. Nothing on the happy hour menu is more than $8, and the vegetarian-friendly nachos come in at just $12.
We really like the must-try carnitas and the hands-down best burrito here. The fried taco is a great way to finish it all off.
Ixtapa Redmond Ridge
$ | (425) 868-8283 | WEBSITE

One of the unspoken requirements for calling yourself a Redmond resident is craving authentic Mexican food at least once a week. Which means you’ve probably eaten at Ixtapa Redmond Ridge at some point. But their spins on the classics—like the sizzling chicken fajitas or the homemade nachos with salsa—are pretty impressive for casual diners as well.
