Between the checkered tablecloths, stacked plates of fresh pizza, and lined up bottles of olive oil, this little pizzeria in Hamilton manages to feel very Italian without giving the impression of being owned by the world’s biggest food snob. On the food side they serve everything from margherita pizza to classic spaghetti bolognese, but our favourite thing here is the meat lasagna and manicotti.

If you’re heading out with someone who’s all about that ‘fresh and hot’ pizza experience, then you want to take them to Pizza Pizza. This spot in Hamilton is a straightforward pizza affair, where the staff serve up a wide variety of toppings on their freshly made pies. As well as the stuffed crust spicy chicken pizza – so good you’ll forget to breathe – it’s the atmosphere that really makes Pizza Pizza.
It’s welcoming and clean, and, sometimes, they’ll even just get you to try something like the shawarma pizza as if you’re at home in the kitchen.

Not only does this restaurant serve some seriously delicious gourmet-level pies – including a sesame-crusted pizza that would make any pizza purist reconsider their stance – but, come dinnertime, their dining area goes from casual spot to what we like to call ‘perfectly cozy’. If you’re looking to treat yourself without breaking the bank, it’s worth knowing that the garlic knots here are just as good as the main attraction.

A pizza night is perfect if you’re trying to keep things simple with the whole family. Why? Because pizza is neither fancy nor fussy, meaning everyone can find something they like without any stress. This Hamilton pizza spot is the very definition of ‘oh this, we just grabbed it quick’, which usually means something like hot spicy chicken wings with dipping sauces, or Crazy Bread with garlic butter. Oh this reliable place? You order from here all the time.

It’s a cozy restaurant in Hamilton serving up some of the best pizza and wings we’ve had in the city. The pepperoni pizza straight from the oven will impress anyone. And that’s before we even mention their perfectly cooked wings as well.

It’s the reliable favorite of places to grab excellent, affordable handmade pizza if you will. Just off the main strip, Pisa Pizza has a friendly, family-run vibe that keeps things feeling welcoming whilst their unique Shawarma Pizza and enormous wings will keep your taste buds happy.
Pizza Bell & Wings

At first glance, Pizza Bell & Wings is a straightforward spot in Hamilton serving hungry locals who are all grabbing a quick, affordable slice while running errands. But what you should know is that, after dark, this unassuming space reveals its true character as a humble, welcoming haven, full of families and groups enjoying very good Indian-style pizza and tandoori chicken, all of which hover around the $12 – $16 mark. The Fish Pakoras are particularly excellent.
All in, it’s casual, reliable, and discreetly impressive. Heads up, you’ll want to try the halal options.

From the slightly outdated but character-filled atmosphere to the fact that the super friendly staff make everyone feel like family, it’s pretty much impossible not to like this place. Heads up, finishing your meal here with some medium wings tossed in excellent sauce is never not a good idea.
Niva Pizza & Wings

Niva Pizza & Wings is a straightforward pizza and wings joint that could easily be overlooked amid the strip mall bustle of Hamilton if you’re not paying attention. Once you spot it though, you’ll notice plenty of others have the same idea: heading here. This place almost always has cars waiting at the pickup window. It’s one of those spots you’ll recommend to a friend once and then they’ll start ordering from there regularly, probably without telling you.
We tend to stick to the pizza, the perfect crust with chunky toppings and also the battered wings are favorites – though the garlic parm wings are excellent too.
