Tina’s Pizza & Grill
$ | (810) 653-5558 | WEBSITE

Family dining is the ideal way to sample the full range of classic American comfort food at this Davison spot. And while fancy burgers are nice, we’d rather sink our teeth into Tina’s legendary cheeseburger, hailed as the best in Michigan, if not the world. The juicy patty piled with fresh toppings should be a staple on every table. The strombolis and vegetarian options are also delicious, and their pizza is a great choice for anyone who thinks no family meal is complete without it.
The Davison Hotel
$ | (810) 412-5262 | WEBSITE

In a town full of predictable chain restaurants, The Davison Hotel is both reliable and genuinely enjoyable. This longtime favorite mixes classic comfort-food nostalgia (cheesy spinach dip) with “this is where the locals actually eat” touches (perfectly cooked burgers, generous pasta portions). The dishes are straightforward but consistently satisfying. The spinach and artichoke dip balances creaminess with just enough garlic, and the Tenderloin Tips with Pappardelle Pasta are perfectly tender.
Come here to make a regular Tuesday lunch feel like a small celebration worth repeating.

$$ | (810) 653-4300 | WEBSITE

Nothing is quite as perfect for a big game night with your crew as a steakhouse feast at Lucky’s. And Lucky’s is spacious, has that cozy local vibe, and is open for both family dinners and sports fans. So if you’re one of the unfortunate souls whose team is playing on a random Tuesday night, you have a solid spot to rally your friends without breaking the bank.
They have tasty seafood options like shrimp and fish dishes, but we recommend focusing on the steaks—especially the prime rib that melts in your mouth.

They have a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a kind owner who is motherly enough to make you feel at home.
This spot is a must-visit for Caribbean food lovers, and while they have delicious staples, the most exciting dishes are the ones that showcase amazing flavors. From their tender and savory oxtails, to their impressively cheesy Mac and cheese, the combinations of textures and tastes are generous and satisfying.

The Pizza Company
$ | (810) 658-9333 | WEBSITE

Not only does this Davison institution have the best pizza we’ve encountered in Michigan, but it’s also a reliable favorite. The compact takeout-focused restaurant has a straightforward setup, paper plates, and makes Buffalo pizza that isn’t too greasy. Along with the aforementioned pizza (like the BLT, Buffalo, and other thick-crust varieties) the menu has other classics.
There are phenomenal breadsticks and excellent ribs that have a great amount of flavor, and a little salad poking out of the plastic container. We’d like to think it’s wishing us a happy anniversary.
Detroit Wing Company
$ | (810) 510-9700 | WEBSITE

Detroit Wing Company is a saucy and satisfying destination, right down to their take-out boxes packed with flavor-packed wings. Its no-frills setup mixes industrial-chic efficiency with neighborhood charm—perfect for a game night with friends, cold drinks, and an equally lively atmosphere. And as a standout among local wing joints, it proves that great chicken runs in the kitchen.
If Detroit Wing Company’s menu had a poster child, it’d be the habanero/ranch dry rub wings: incredible, crispy bites channeling the heat of habanero with the cool of ranch. But there are many excellent sauces, like the firecracker with its sweet-spicy kick, or the garlic Parmesan swimming in savory richness. Just make sure to get their cornbread—it’s more of a side, but we’d gladly eat it as a dessert replacement.

The restaurant is popular but never overwhelming, and there’s a good chance your server, maybe even Chase, will check in multiple times to ensure everything is perfect. Plus, there’s an all-you-can-eat soup and salad lunch hiding behind a very reasonable price tag.
Tiebreaker Lounge
$ | (810) 658-2355 | WEBSITE

And it’s the kind of place where the owner will let you know not only what’s fresh that day, but the entire story behind the beer selection, including which local brews are pouring. The menu here is mainly limited to wings and fries from the fryer, but there are also great beer choices (which are a must-order).
Tiebreaker Lounge pops up frequently on people’s ‘I’ve been meaning to check out their music night’ lists, so when you suggest it to your friends, it’s basically like giving them tickets to a show.
