This compact gluten-free kitchen in Westminster serves celiac-safe treats with a bakery feel, complete with a counter with display cases, simple wooden tables, and a staff that you hope will call you “sweetie.” Crestone Bakery gets a brief part in the local food scene, which features one of their solid buttermilk sticks being handed over their counter. Someone was probably called “sweetie” right after the gluten-free flour was measured.
Renegade Burrito

Those hefty burritos featured in local food guides belong to Renegade Burrito, one of Colorado’s best spots for Mission-style burritos. This dependable eatery has a prime location in Fort Collins, and is known for their burritos with excellent customization. Their crowd-pleasers include steak and chicken options with peppers, rice, beans, pico, and sour cream, which have been highly appreciated at community events.
But our favorite staple is the classic burrito with fresh chips and guacamole on the side.
Marco’s Pizza

Marco’s Pizza is a convenient and enjoyable spot, but one thing that’s pure fantasy is expecting to walk in and get a table right away. Marco’s is one of the best pizza places in Westminster, with lines that often stretch out the door. The one thing that’s absolutely accurate is that the pizza is cooked to perfection, and you should absolutely add grilled tomatoes to their vegetarian pizza.
Tap & Burger Westminster

We might have suggested a different spot for a classic burger (like The Cherry Cricket downtown), but given how much driving people already do in Westminster, perhaps Tap & Burger was chosen for its easy parking. But Tap & Burger is reliable and has a convenient location in Westminster. You’ll find options like the patty melt, the old-fashioned burger, and chicken with fries or salad. The gluten-free choices mentioned by some diners sound better than any we’ve personally tried here.
Tokyo Joe’s – Westminster

Tokyo Joe’s is strictly for fans of quick-service Asian fare. Which helps explain why Westminster residents keep returning to this otherwise unremarkable strip mall spot for their casual lunch breaks. And while Tokyo Joe’s is a decent place for grabbing a fast poke bowl or combo, its menu execution is less consistent, with standard fast-casual issues like dry salmon and bland sauces.
Blackjack Pizza & Salads

My week wasn’t exactly the same after I visited Blackjack Pizza & Salads in Westminster, where I had a chat with Nick about the best pizza toppings. This local spot’s pepperoni pizza with its perfectly crispy crust is similarly life-changing. No internal struggles about waiting in long lines required.
The Old Spaghetti Factory

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a charming restaurant serving classic food with attentive and friendly service, and does its job remarkably well. This is why we heartily endorse the choice to come to this Westminster establishment, presumably for dishes that will become a comforting Italian meal. But The Old Spaghetti Factory’s best role is as a casual dining spot from lunch through dinner, where you can get great pasta.
The menu features beloved options, like the angel hair pasta with brown butter and mizithra cheese—a signature dish now made with regular pasta, along with their salad and spumoni.
Ted’s Montana Grill

This cozy spot in Westminster (with locations across the country) serves some of the best bison we’ve ever had. You can get it as a burger, in a ribeye cut, and—if you’re feeling adventurous—as a hearty meatloaf. Their process of sourcing bison from their own ranches is what makes the meat so consistently phenomenal.
Bender’s Bar & Grill

Bender’s Bar & Grill in Westminster isn’t just one of our favorite sports bars in the area—we also have it on our best restaurants in Westminster list, as wildly controversial as it may be for a bar and grill to be there. You can’t go wrong with anything from their comfort food menu, like the incredible mac and cheese, chicken tenders, or onion rings. The mac and cheese gets a couple of close-ups in the arena’s game montage, a glaring sign you should get it when you visit.
Adelitas Kitchen

Adelitas Kitchen is such a tamale show that, aside from their other Mexican dishes, it rarely features anything but those delicious bundles. That changes a bit with their handheld carne asada burrito, which is packed with garlicky filling and smothered in sauce.
We get to see the inside, where their famous tamales are stuffed with red pork and green chili instead of masa, and the outside, where we like to stand while eating the $8 burritos and other delicious meals, because Adelitas has a clean and friendly atmosphere that makes you want to linger.
Woody’s Wings N Things

Woody’s Wings N Things serves Southeast Asian cuisine that reaches far beyond Westminster, and the extensive menu binder showcases dozens of pages of authentic options. While we’ve yet to try every item in this unassuming restaurant, Woody’s offers standout lemongrass wings for just $12, and witness another part of the dining experience—friendly staff delivering generous portions to comfortable tables, a form of real-life satisfaction.
Lily Saigon Phở Grill

This pho spot is like the broth in a perfect bowl, or all the ingredients in a traditional Vietnamese kitchen. It’s a metaphor. It’s not actually Saigon, more of an amalgamation of several authentic pho experiences. Yes, the sign and the menu say Lily Saigon Phở Grill, and they serve the signature pho with chicken and vegetables (which is amazing). But Lily Saigon is in Westminster and has been around for years, and as far as we know, there’s no celebrity chef working there.
Faux Saigon represents all of Colorado’s reliable Vietnamese restaurants. They will be one of the best bowls of pho in your life, and you’ll likely want a boba tea afterward. Two things can exist at the same time.
Akihabara Arcade and Bar

Akihabara Arcade and Bar is a Westminster destination and the rare Colorado spot to capture the authentic arcade experience. In the daytime, families enjoy the wide range of working cabinets with quarters and Japanese snacks. But after 9 PM, the 21+ crowd discovers the bar’s great drink selection and rare game titles, and some of the chill employees who enhance it all.
Hoffbrau

In terms of featured spots in Westminster, this one is for regulars only. There are plenty of sports bars in Colorado alone (along with dozens in the area), this being a standout in Westminster. One of their signature offerings, with servers carrying their crispy pretzel bites appetizer, gets consistent praise from the happy-hour crowd.
Jimmy John’s

Another sandwich shop we get a brief tour of belongs to this American counter-service spot in Westminster. In real life, though, you don’t need to sneak behind Jimmy John’s counter and into their kitchen to get a behind-the-scenes look. There’s usually someone making their delicious sandwiches at the front counter right where you order, with the cheerful staff like Tiffany and manager Riggs greeting customers warmly as they prepare orders quickly with their welcoming personalities.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is a casual dining spot in Westminster, where the staff, like Britta and Hung, go above and beyond to make your visit worthwhile. But for a more memorable taste of BJ’s homestyle cooking, try their creamy mashed potatoes and kid-friendly appetizers like fruit and goldfish.
CD’s Wings – Westminster

It’s a top-tier destination for casual dining, but the wings are even better at the actual spot, a laid-back eatery that’s become a local staple. Walk up to the counter, place an order from the straightforward menu board above you, and the friendly staff will call out your number when it’s ready. Plus, there are plenty of TVs showing the game. They kind of make you want to stay awhile.
Himchuli RiNo – Indian and Nepali Cuisine

Himchuli RiNo is a highly acclaimed spot in Westminster, and it consistently delivers exceptional dining experiences. Their dishes are particularly good, especially the sweet potato masala or butter chicken done makhani-style, and they come with garlic naan that’s freshly baked. And the lunch thali options, like saag paneer and momo dumplings with great presentation, definitely beat the takeout containers cluttering your fridge.
