Cruising through Doral, you’ll notice a few things. Endless strip malls, for starters, and more luxury SUVs than you can count. You’ll also spot sports bars on every corner—some with genuinely great food, others where the TVs outshine the nachos. Remember: giant screens and team flags don’t guarantee a decent burger. So here are the Doral spots where the game-day fare actually scores.
Hole in the Wall
$ | (786) 953-4221 | WEBSITE

This Doral sports bar feels like the main event of a Saturday game day. If you need a place that immediately sets the tone for a lively gathering with friends, stop by and grab wings beneath the glow of big-screen TVs while you listen to live music. The food—like the standout Mahi Tacos, the popular burnt ends, and the Philly—doesn’t hold back, and the noteworthy beer selection keeps the mood festive. Try the pulled pork, served with fries and a side of that lively courtyard atmosphere.
5inco Restaurant
$ | (786) 615-6521 | WEBSITE

Like a lot of spots on this list, 5inco Restaurant is a hidden gem worth seeking out. If you manage to find this unassuming spot, prepare yourself to eat authentic Colombian food and drink something refreshing in a cozy space filled with diners who look like they appreciate generous portions and great value. Order a few standout dishes like empanadas and burgers, and be sure to try the Sancocho de Costilla with its hearty serving of tender meat.
For dessert, have another empanada, a burger (one of the best in the area), or both. If you’re looking to have dinner in a place that feels like a welcoming neighborhood eatery with excellent service, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Duffy’s Sports Grill
$$ | (305) 406-0001 | WEBSITE

There’s a correct way to do Duffy’s, and this is it: You come with a group of friends, and you grab a spot at the bar. You order the 2 for 1 drinks special and some wings, and then you share a couple of burgers. You watch the game. You leave satisfied. Unlike a lot of typical sports bars, the atmosphere is genuinely lively with energetic bartenders and quick service, and a night here is about as good a game day experience as they come.
You can’t go wrong with any of the bartenders’ suggestions, and Jay’s welcoming presence alone is worth coming back for.
Magic 8 Sports Bar
$ | (786) 615-4935 | WEBSITE

Magic 8 Sports Bar is a lively and welcoming establishment in Miami, known for its friendly atmosphere and diverse clientele. With multiple TVs for watching various sporting events, and a combination of sports bar, dance floor, and pool tables, it’s a vibrant late-night hangout for sports enthusiasts and pool players alike. That is, if you can manage to find a spot at the bar. Once you do, order the steak sandwich and a plate of chicken wings. We’d also recommend trying the shrimp and tostones.
Only a few batches are made fresh each night.
Old Tom’s Sports Bar Kendall
$$ | (786) 431-1012 | WEBSITE

Walking into this cozy little neighborhood spot feels like entering your favorite local hangout. The food is just as satisfying as the laid-back atmosphere, while still flavorful, like the Tominator Hamburger cooked to perfection. The straightforward yet delicious Philly cheesesteak sandwich—a classic with tender meat, melted cheese, and grilled onions—is a must. The vibe is right, with good drinks at the bar and friendly staff, though they could be more attentive at times.
It’s a pleasing dining experience with good prices, even if the location is sorta meh and it can get loud with kids running around. The French onion soup and steak quesadilla are 5-star favorites that keep customers coming back.
Flanigan’s Seafood Bar and Grill
$$ | (305) 821-0993 | WEBSITE

When you first moved to South Florida, you probably imagined yourself eating at a restaurant like Flanigan’s, in a neighborhood like Doral. With ribs that fall right off the bone and nachos piled high for sharing, it’s obvious this restaurant has been a local staple for years, but it’s also exactly the type of welcoming sports bar that Floridians are always craving.
The prices are closer to what you’d spend on a fun night out with friends than on a quick bite, but the consistently satisfying food and attentive service make it worth the occasional visit.
Se7aS Bar
$ | (305) 266-6071 | WEBSITE

Se7aS Bar manages to get us excited about a karaoke spot that calls itself a dive bar. Even their most basic nights get unexpected entertainment, like Bernie’s hilarious hosting or the regulars’ surprisingly good renditions of classic rock. And despite the fact that this isn’t a fancy cocktail lounge, their atmosphere is some of the best in Miami. (That’s saying something.) The space is casual enough for after-work beers, yet lively enough for a weekend celebration.
Be sure to save your voice for karaoke.
Kings Dining & Entertainment
$$ | (844) 494-9400 | WEBSITE

Doral has so many good sports bars, it’s unfair to other neighborhoods. Your first stop should always be for the big game, but after that, head to Kings Dining & Entertainment. This lively destination, which specializes in a fun night out, offers surprisingly good food with a variety of options beyond typical bowling alley fare. The bowling, billiards, and karaoke are essential, and you should also try the relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for families, friends, or even dates.
The staff, including the General Manager Andres, are friendly and attentive, making sure customers have a great time with their excellent hospitality and attention to detail. Prices are reasonable, and service is quick and easy, creating memorable experiences for guests. While some improvements are needed in allergy awareness, the vibrant atmosphere and entertainment options make it a worthwhile destination for a memorable night out.
Bryson’s Irish Pub
$ | (305) 871-9534 | WEBSITE

Bryson’s Irish Pub is known for two things: classic dive bar vibes that feel authentically unpretentious, and being packed with regulars—partly because the space has that cozy, lived-in charm. Now that the patio is accessible via a ramp and the entrance is through there, getting a seat is a bit easier, but not by much.
If you’re lucky enough to snag a spot, you’ll get to enjoy your choice from over 50 beers on draft and some perfect lemon pepper wings in a friendly space with TVs tuned to the game. Keep in mind, the bar is saved for those just dropping in, and you can grab a stool without much of a wait if you swing by early in the evening.
Old Tom’s Sports Bar Miami Springs
$$ | (305) 888-6022 | WEBSITE

Old Tom’s excels at sports bar classics with a Miami twist. The family-friendly spot from the team behind the local favorite loses the pretense in favor of chili ranch sauce, bright and spritzy cocktails, and lots of wonderfully prepared comfort food. Go big on signature items like the PB&J Burger with its sweet and savory combo, or a rich Mahi strips basket served with crispy fries and that addictive chili ranch.
It still has that patented sports bar tough table during big games, but you can walk in and sit at the bar and let the classic rock soundtrack wash over you.
GameTime Miami
$$ | (305) 667-4263 | WEBSITE

GameTime Miami is a lively destination for all ages that you should shout about to everyone you hang out with regularly. It’s a two-story arcade with a wide assortment of fun, interactive games, and it’s where you’ll find what we’re fairly certain is Doral’s best chicken tender platter with house-made honey mustard. (It’s about the size of a football.) They also have a steak sandwich with yummy horseradish sauce and a supreme pizza with fresh vegetables and a crispy crust.
This place is more like an entertainment hub than a typical restaurant, so grab the $15 Thursday Promo for 5 hours of play on blue games on your way in.
Parrillada Familiar Da Silva
$$ | (305) 477-4646 | WEBSITE

Parrillada Familiar Da Silva is consistently lively and often packed. That might not sound like a place where you want to enjoy a relaxed meal, but this family-friendly spot will win you over with its vibrant energy as soon as you walk in. There’s a spacious dining area and live music like the outstanding Sunday of Música Llanera, and the welcoming space is filled with the aroma of grilled meats.
Bring friends or family to this energetic venue for some classic Latin American dishes like chicharrones, shrimp ceviche, churrasco, and palmito salad.
Sports Grill South Miami
$ | (305) 668-0395 | WEBSITE

There are sports bars in Miami that feel like a stadium, but Sports Grill South Miami lives at the opposite end of the spectrum. The inviting dining room makes you feel like somebody is about to hand you a cold beer and turn on the game. Only the wings are legendary ($14 for a dozen or $18 for the special grilled), and they come in styles like the ‘dale’ that are considered the best in the city. The menu also includes wake fries with cheese, burgers, and a solid selection of draft beers.
Service here is wonderful—if a napkin somehow falls to the floor, someone like Stephanie will replace it with a smile. Carlo the GM is hands on, and the whole staff from servers to cooks makes lunchtime the best.
Hole 19 – Scratch Kitchen + Bar
$$ | (305) 381-5594 | WEBSITE

Instead of wings and nachos, Hole 19 does a fantastic lineup of scratch-made pizzas and a menu of hearty appetizers that have earned a loyal following. Both the food and the atmosphere are very much worth your time, and there are some other reliable staples that belong on your table too, like the tasty soups and main dishes that keep customers coming back. Experience all of those things, and you’ll realize why this is one of the top sports bars in Doral.
The place is filled with golf course lounge vibes and lively energy, so it’s a perfect destination for a social gathering.
The Billiard Club
$$ | (305) 821-8383 | WEBSITE

Situated in a converted space that once housed a kitchen, The Billiard Club is a lively sports bar from the team behind local favorites. Instead of just another pool hall though, an evening at The Billiard Club is a night out with friends—with a side of competitive gaming. Shoot pool on recently upgraded felt tables, snack on drinks from the friendly bartender, and finish your visit with the great vibe of the VIP lounge area.
The Billiard Club also has a pleasant atmosphere, so it works well for hanging out with a partner or group.
Miller’s Ale House
$$ | (305) 231-8585 | WEBSITE

Have you ever found yourself driving through Doral thinking: “Is there a spot that’s welcoming and comfortable I can just swing by for some wings and a solid burger without needing a reservation?” That place exists, and it’s Miller’s Ale House. This cozy little spot in Miami Lakes with TVs everywhere and booths that might be the most comfortable (or more) seats in town is good for either a casual dinner or a meal with a bunch of colleagues.
Order the Zinger Mac and Cheese, some loaded nachos, and the Capt. Jack’s Buried Treasure dessert.
Dave & Buster’s Miami
$$ | (305) 468-1555 | WEBSITE

Every inch the lively family entertainment destination with its sprawling game floor buzzing with arcade sounds, and its spacious dining area overlooking the bustling bar, Dave & Buster’s also has one of the more reliable menus in the area.
You’ll find classic American fare and attentive service at this fun sports bar, but you’ll also find tasty drinks like the spicy hombre margarita and a wide variety of games for both adults and children enlivening everything from casual dinners to group outings. The atmosphere is pretty much all fun and laid-back, and the experience improves on quieter nights like Thursday, when the place feels less crowded and all games are easily accessible.
Woody’s Backyard Grill
$ | (786) 254-7015 | WEBSITE

Woody’s Backyard Grill has been a staple on our best sports bars list since we discovered it, and this Doral location delivers the same, perfectly cooked barbecue we crave. Each rib is smoked with a rich, hickory flavor and glazed with a tangy sauce, and sides like moist cornbread, crispy onion rings, or the sampler plate, which are all bursting with flavor.
Despite having a vibrant Miami vibe and featuring great karaoke on Thursdays, Woody’s is still a casual backyard grill, where smoky sauce smears your fingers as you pull tender meat from the bone.
