You’ll choose a starter (we recommend the Caterpillar roll, easily one of Saki’s best dishes) and an entree (go for either the Tako Oishi or the Wagyu), and the meal ends with a delightful dessert that’s not to be missed.
There are also sushi upgrades available, but the $22 setup makes for a perfectly satisfying experience.
Narumi Sushi

Sushi is a great anytime meal, but if you reserve your chopsticks for dinner alone, Narumi also has lighter options like seaweed salad or vegetarian choices. It feels a bit like somebody stuck a bright, clean dining room in the middle of El Cajon, occupied mostly by regulars who haven’t stopped coming back in years. Don’t be surprised if it takes your appetite a few minutes to decide what to order, because in addition to the Vegas roll that punches above its price, you can’t go wrong with the lump crab sushi or the fresh fish selection.
Just don’t ask them to make you a “level 10” spicy roll—we regretted that one.
