Taco cravings in Doral satisfy a very specific hunger. Not necessarily one of refinement, but rather pure, unapologetic indulgence. It’s helpful to approach these spots knowing that authenticity varies wildly—and that some tortillas will inevitably disappoint. But that’s not really why you’re here. (There are, of course, exceptions. And you’ll find the best below.) So whether you’re chasing al pastor perfection or just want a reliable carnitas fix, we’ve mapped out where to go.

Sr de los Tacos Doral is the Doral outpost of the popular Miami-Dade taco scene. Expect the same authentic Mexican concept—a variety of delicious dishes, generous portions that are easy to share, and solid classics like the renowned “Trio Meal” and “Birria Flautas”—plus a welcoming atmosphere where no one will mind if your group gets lively after too many passion fruit frozen margaritas.
$25 Taco Tuesday specials are enticing, but so are the regular menu items like flavorful pork belly tacos and gigantic birria bowls described as “delicious.” Especially when they’re enjoyed in the clean, pleasant dining room with three salsa varieties.

Tradición Hondureña
$ | (305) 766-8912 | WEBSITE

We’re fans of Tradición Hondureña’s authentic Honduran food, so we were delighted when we tried their popular dishes. It’s $18 per plate for their signature chuco chicken, which includes the catracho seasoning and a side of tajadas. $22 more will also get you the chuleta con tajada with all the typical Honduran flavors, including the tender pork chop and perfectly fried plantains. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a meal, whether dining in or taking out.
The service from Sucel and Maria is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming environment. However, some guests experienced poor organization from certain servers, which affected their overall experience. The restaurant continues to be a favorite for authentic Honduran cuisine and warm hospitality.

Taco chundito food truck
$ | (786) 908-4464 | WEBSITE

Taco Chundito is a food truck in Hialeah that feels like a fiesta, but is still chill enough for a casual lunch to listen to your coworker admit they’re secretly relieved they didn’t get that promotion last month. For $12, you can get a satisfying combo of tacos, a burrito, and esquites, along with dishes like the distinctive burger and classic Mexican sides. One of the best things about this place?
The outdoor seating is set up with mismatched tables and chairs under string lights, with classic Mexican tunes playing from a portable speaker.
Los Tacos Del Chef Pancho 01
$ | (305) 213-4565 | WEBSITE

Los Tacos Del Chef Pancho 01 is a highly-recommended food truck that bills itself as a simple Mexican spot but is actually a fantastic authentic kitchen. They have excellent birria tacos, tacos al pastor, and a steak that interrupts our train of thought more often than we’d like to admit. And if you swing by their friendly, welcoming space during lunch, you can do some very scientific research to see whether the chilaquiles taste better before or after a few glasses of horchata.
You only get about 45 minutes in the line, though, so—in the name of science—get moving.
